Re: Drive C: space

Probably nothing out of the ordinary. My default Premium install, with the
Exchange databases moved and a 2 GB page file, takes up 10,9 GB on the C
drive.

Page file, various logs, service pack uninstall files, and other things
listed in the document I posted (such as Client Apps) are about the only
suggestions I have for other things you might be able to move. As for
increasing the size of C, you could check with Compaq about if or how that
can be done in your RAID controller.

Failing that, you'll need to back up, recreate the partitions, then restore,
or use some kind of imaging software or other 3rd party partition resizing
app. IMO those are risky options, and last I knew, use of partition
resizing software might put you in an unsupported state as far as MS Support
is concerned.

Exchange files are already on the D: drive.

I do have ISA installed but not SQL.

I just can not find what is burning up the disk space.

Recomdations where to look, or what I can delete to free up some space? I
would love to increase the size of the C: drive but not sure how to
accomplish that at this point.

I'm not sure if this article mentions it or not, but one of the first
things
I move is the page file. Just leave a minimum size page file on C, and
put
one on D at 1.5 times physical RAM.

have a Compaq ML350 with 5 72GB drives in a RAID 5 configuration. Drive
C:
is
12GB the rest is Drive D:. Drive C: has 1.6GB of free space, Drive D:
has
about 70GB free. I can not install R2, a new version of Symantec
Antivirus,
or the latest upgrade to Backup Exec. I recieve a message saying not
enough
disk space.

What can I move to drive D: to allow me to do the upgrades?
Or is there away to add more disk space to Drive C:?

I have room for another 72GB drive in the array if that is what it
takes.
