I would go to the logging tab in the ISA monitoring, start a query and then try accessing the site from the outside. Watch in the query what happens to the request. That might give you a clue why it is not working.

Go to the properties of website and make sure that default.aspx is on the top of the default pages and that the checkbox "allow default content page" is checked.

News: publishing runs, but only when I type
http://external.name.com/default.aspx
http://external.name.com without default.aspx doesn't run.
So do you have any hints for me?

Hi,

I installed WSS3 on SBS 2003R2 Premium like it was told in the MS Whitepaper. All running fine.
Companyweb and the new WSS3 are running side by side.
WSS was installed on port 34324 so I can call http://sbs:34324 to call WSS3 from the internal network.

Now I want to publish WSS2 to the internet via ISA 2004.
I created a rule where the external URL is sent to the WSS3 site.
What else do I have to do. Seems I forgot something, because it doesn't work.

Any Tips?
Thanks Thomas
