RE: two subnets on my sbs server

Hello Jens,

Thank you for posting here.

According to your description, I understand that one workstation cannot
accesses IIS website on SBS. If I have misunderstood the problem, please
don't hesitate to let me know.

Based on my research, I suggest we try the following steps to see if we can
resolve this issue:

1. I strongly recommended you to use the CEICW wizard to configure the SBS
server via the following KB page:

825763 How to configure Internet access in Windows Small Business Server
2003
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=825763

2. The issue is probably IP address restrictions on the ConnectComputer
Virtual Directory in IIS.

a. Open IIS Management, expand {servername}, expand Web Sites->Default Web
Site.

b. Right-click on the ConnectComputer virtual directory and choose
properties.

c. Click on the Directory Security tab. Click on the edit button under IP
Address and Domain Name Restrictions.

d. Allow all computers to access the site by default.

e. Click OK several times and then try again.

3. Please also ensure the DNS address of the client is pointing to the SBS
internal interface

If the issue persists, please kindly help me collect some information for
further investigation:

1. Please capture a screenshot on the error message and send the picture to
my mailbox: v-terliu@xxxxxxxxxxxxx

2. Can the client accesses http://myserver/?

3. Does this issue only happen on this client? How about other clients?

Hope these steps will give you some help.

Thanks and have a nice day!

Best regards,

Terence Liu(MSFT)

| There is a litle error symbol in the lower left corner of the browser
