You know what.. the fact that the only side effect you are having is it
finding another DC out there is a testimony to Win2k3. On Win2k you
would have been owned by now.
Even a consumer grade nat box would provide you with blocking of
DHCP/FSMO role leakage between you and the outside world.
Get 'something' on that box.
Yes -- I am working on that separately -- any thoughts on a basic box to do
the job?
But I can't see where that will help me solve the immediate problem.
