Yes you are referencing the correct knowledge base article.
Note the bullet in that article;
"There must not be any existing domain trusts or child domains."
You will need to migrate your resources to the domain you plan SBS to join,
disolve the trust, and meet all the other requirements in the KB *before*
you install SBS into the existing domain.

I have 2 existing domains (domainA and domainB) with a trust between
the 2.
I plan on installing an SBS server into domainA, and eliminating
domainB. I plan on following the guidelines in
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/884453/en-us
However, the statement in the article
"There must not be any existing domain trusts or child domains." got my
attention.
If I have a trust between the 2 domains, is that going to muck up the
works.
My Exchange server is currently in domainB, the one that is going away,
so I'd like to have the trust in place, if I can.
Can anyone offer any advice or guidelines? Is the article I referenced
a good guideline to use.
