Right now, I am starting again with the installation.
I finally got a floppy to work.
I am starting again.
I thoughts right now is the SBS 2003 install CD is bad.

Hello David,
Thank you for posting here.
Before we go any further, please let me know the following information so
that we can understand your situation more clearly.
1. As you mentioned "installation was stopped when the time on the last
seven minutes approached 45 minutes." Could you please let me know what
installation it is (SBS integrated components installation or other
software installations)?
2. As you mentioned "Every time I tried to use a bootable cd, the setup
would start again." Can I assume the bootable cd is the SBS CD1? If it is
not the case, if you inset any bootable CD in the Server, the appropriate
setup program from the bootable CD will start again. Based on my
experience, this issue may occur if you configure the server boot from
CDROM first, rather than hard disk in the BIOS. Please re-configure the
server's BIOS to let it boot from hard disk first.
Note: If you any questions for BIOS configuration, please contact your
hardware vendor for support. Thank you for your understanding!
3. Did you complete the SBS all components installation?
4. If above scenarios are not your case, please let me know the exact
problem symptom for further analysis.
Thanks and have a nice day!
Best regards,
Terence Liu(MSFT)
