RAS and incorrect DNS

OK everyone maybe you can shed some light on this, I have a RAS connection to an SBS2003 server that connects find and issues a good ip and everything. However when i try to ping a known client on the LAN (say fred@xxxxxxxxxxxx), it comes back with the client's incorrect IP(fred@xxxxxxxxxxxx). Now the kicker is that that used to be fred's ip, however it was convert to static about a week ago and is showing the old ip now...

I've tried flushing the dns records on both the client and server but to no avail.

Help.

Paul
