I recently reconfigured my network. everything is working fine except
3-5 times a day, everyone on the LAN loses internet connection. If i
restart the routing and remote access service on the windows 2003se SP1
server it works fine for a few hours. I have not determined what is
causing the problem.
Here is the basic network
Bell South DSL modem connected to 1st nic on windows 2003 server
DLink DES-1024D switch connecto to 2nd nic on windows 2003 server
17 Windows XP Pro workstations connected to above dlink switch
Server is working as NAT and DHCP
I did notice the following error in event viewer at the time we lose
connection.
Unable to add the interface {957E2185-54DA-401D-A3C5-EC6C0973FD6E} with
the Router Manager for the IP protocol. The following error occurred:
Cannot complete this function.
