Re: Hardware Firewall/VPN Recommendation

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

Sonicwall TZ170 they have been working for me flawlessly for 3 years
and have all the features you want. You can find them pretty cheap.
With all the features you need figure any where between 500 and 1000
do a google search

I would like to set up a site to site VPN between the two major sites
and client to site for any others

I have an ageing firewall, NetScreen 5, that cannot handle the ADSL Max
service so need to replace that. At the primary site there is just the
one DSL service

My other location has a Watchguard Soho with one DSL connection

At the primary location, I run Windows 2003 SBS and at the secondary
site there is no domain - and I don't plan to have the network there as
part of my Active Directory

At both sites, the firewall has to be able to allow up to 32 external
IP addresses (granted, I only plan to use up to about 3 but the ISP
kindly provided me with this many), but all machines inside the
firewall will be using NAT. I don't want the Firewall to provide
anti-virus or content filtering

I believe I should stick with one hardware manufacturer for the
firewall but has anyone got any recommendations?

I am based in the UK
