Hello Rgarcia,

Thank you for posting here.

According to your description, I understand that you can not access
Internet after you installed ISA 2004. If I have misunderstood the problem,
please don't hesitate to let me know.

Basically speaking, after we install the ISA Server 2004 component on the
SBS box, we need to run the CEICW Wizard. The wizard can help us configure
the networking settings for a SBS server. It automatically creates the ISA
rules for internet access and site publishing.

Here I suggest you strictly follow this KB article to rerun the CEICW
(ensure the ISA management console is closed while running the wizard):

825763 How to configure Internet access in Windows Small Business Server
2003
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=825763

If you still encounter some errors when running the CEICW Wizard, I think
this should be the root cause of the problem. Please kindly send me the
following log files so that I can help you check the CEICW log file:

Please send the following files to my working mailbox:
v-terliu@xxxxxxxxxxxxx

1) The icwlog.txt file in the "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Windows Small
Business Server\Support" folder.
2) The icwdetails*.htm in the "C:\Program files\Microsoft Windows Small
Business Server\Networking\ICW\" folder.
3) Please capture a screenshot on the error page when the CEICW Wizard
fails.

In addition, please help me gather the following info:

1. How many NIC is installed on the SBS box?

2. Did you encounter any problems when installing the ISA component?

3. Have you configured the internal clients as web proxy client?

To be a Web Proxy client, please open IE, click Tools->Internet Options,
and click Connections->LAN Settings, configure ISA server as your Proxy
server (you can enter either the computer name or the internal IP of the
ISA server, port 8080 by default.)

4. Please type "ipconfig/all > d:\filename.txt" on one client computer who
cannot access the internet, then send the .txt file to me.

Hope these steps will give you some help. Please let me know the results so
that I can provide further assistance on this problem. I am looking forward
to your reply. Thanks and have a nice day!

Best regards,

Terence Liu(MSFT)

| Hi,
|
| I just installed a fresh copy of SBS 2003 Premium... well, I didn't
install
| ISA 2000 because I have SBS SP 1 which comes with ISA 2004. So, I went
ahead
| and installed SBS SP 1 including ISA 2004. Here's the issue:
|
| I was able to go online before installing ISA... but not with ISA
installed.
|
| When I run the Internet Connection Wizard it fails at the firewall...
|
| Any ideas?
