Thanks much Steve -
After reading all your various responses to this thread, I will set up SBS with User CALs rather than device CALs, as some users have both workstations and laptops, and some also will be using OWA or RWW from home or jobsites.
If I understand correctly, if I have 30 CALs, I can have 30 USERS regardless of what devices they may use to access the network, and users can have multiple mailboxes if need be.
If those 30 CALs are User CALs, yes.
Now for myself, as admin, I will be using a domain admin account, as well as a daily logon working account - but this will only use one CAL?
You'll presumably have a User CAL anyway, so *anything* you do is covered. Though use of the Administrator account for administrative purposes is exempted from CAL requirements anyway.
