Hi
We have SBS 2003 standard, 2 nics, router, statip IP, SBS is DHCP
server. Everything is working fine. We are planning to purchase some
backup hardware (most probably USB hard drive) and software and need
some advice on which one to purchase that works well with SBS 2003
standard. There are so many options out there. Is SBS included
backup utility good ? has anyone tried its restore feature ? Our
budget for this is under $1000.
Thanks in advance
I tend to like Maxtor, but note that the brand of USB hard drive you buy
doesn't really matter as much as how *many* you buy. You need to be able to
a) swap 'em out and b) store 'em offsite. Personally, I'm old fashioned and
prefer tape drives, although they are expensive.
SBSBackup should be just fine.
