Hello,

I have a network with SBS2000 and about 15 XP clients. In this
network I have a UPS system that is connected to the eletrical system
and to the server. If the power fails all computers remain powered.
When this happens I want SBS2000 to send a message to all connected
users so they close all they are doing and shutdown their machines.
After, let's say, 3 minutes, if the computers arent shutdown I want
SBS2000 to automatically shut them down to preserve the UPS batteries
for SBS2000.
How can I do this?
Thanks

The UPS software that came with your device should have the option to
broadcast a message to all computers in the domain (provided they have the
messenger service running). At least, APC software does this.

Regarding remote shutdown, not sure how you'd do this - you can certainly
*do* remote shutdowns, but I don't know how you'd trigger that
automatically.
