Yes. Create the external accounts as "contacts" in AD, assigning each
contact the appropriate SMTP address. You can then add the contacts to
DLs.
I usually create the Contacts as their own OU under MyBusiness, and keep
them all in there. Note that Contacts do not have an account on your SBS
network, can't log in, and can't be part of any security group. Only email
groups.

I admin a SBS2003 server. I have this task but I'm not sure it is
possible. Ok, here it goes:
Is it possible to create a distribution list that will email outside
domains like gmail.com on the exchange server?
Basically if I log into a machine with valid credentials, start outlook
and type ushers@xxxxxxxxx can it email a group of people that do not have
accounts on our SBS 2003 server? like people with gmail or yahoo
accounts?
