Probably not, SBS 2003 is not an open relay unless someone changed it.

Have a look at:

It is also possible that a spyware or virus has landed on his system. Or
that it is on another system in your LAN and he is being spoofed.

I would probably disconnect from the internet while I figured this out,
otherwise you will be black listed, if, in fact, you are sending thousands.

You can use one of your internal systems connected directly to the router to
post back. Be sure it is fully patched and has its AV and MS Firewall
working.

The server usage report "E-mail sent" is reporting several thousand

e-mails sent by one of our users (the president) that is impossible.
Can someone direct me to resources that will explain and help pinpoint the
problem? Are we being used as a spam server?
