Hi,
I run a sbs2003 server.
I have several public folders, that are all mail-enabled (can I
disable them individually???).
Yes.
I can send email from an external mail address to the public folder.
However, when i make a new public folder which is automatically mail
enabled),
If you switch Exchange to native mode, this should stop. I don't like PFs
being mail-enabled automatically, myself.
mails are not delivered to it.
Not even local mail?
I have tried everything i can possably imagine, and searched on the
internet.
i'm desperate!!
The mail bounces with the following error:
=================
This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification.
Delivery to the following recipients failed.
tst***per@cha***s.be

and:

Reporting-MTA: dns;cha***s.be

Looks like the server does not recognise the receipient.
any ideas???
Not necessarily. Make sure your PF client permissions are set up properly -
"anonymous" needs at least "contributor" rights, if you want to get mail
from the Internet.
