Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

Hi Thanks for your reply.

No resolution understood but "rationalising" the backups has made
things on the system less complex and we;ve had three backup runs
since, with no re-occurence of the problem.

I must admit every morning following a backup I get very twitchy!

Greetings Gentlemen,

I've ran into the same problem in the past. Fortunately it's been several
months since the last occurrence. Unlike your situation though, John, I
didn't have multiple backups scheduled that could have been conflicting. The
only thing I could figure out is that seem to happen when the Active
Directory database was performing self maintenance defragmentation.

Have you got a resolution to your problem yet? It may relate to my problem
and I'd like to be confident that I won't see this happen again.
