Hi Steven,
thank you for your help with this issue, I am somewhat releived that it
seems to be a rDNS issue, at least it isn't something else - I think. But how
do I get this resolved?
I went to the site: http://network-tools.com/ and entered the domain
mobiusgroup.us - not on exchange on our local server due to the way the
server was configured and VP's who wanted to choose which SMTP they sent from.
Any way mobiusgroup.us is hosted by verio - should they create the rDNS or
whom?
Thanks!

Hi Clare,.
Thanks for posting here.
From your post, my understanding on this issue is: you still receive the
following error message in Application log, and when you send email you get
the NDR 451 error.
=========================
Symantec Mail Security for Microsoft Exchange 104 10/16/2006 9:08 AM 6 *
Error occurred sending Windows Messenger service alert to "HPSERVER1".
Additional info: The message alias could not be found on the network.

For the Exchange 104 error message, please temp disables the third-party
anti-virus program and check whether this error disappears.
Based on my research, 451 error means the destination email server requires
Reverse Zone Domain Name Service (DNS) records before allowing mail
transfer.
So, the most possible cause of this issue is the SBS domain does not have a
valid PTR DNS record registered at ISP. If the PTR record is registered at
ISP, the cause could be the internet connection of DNS server at ISP is not
consistent and the client at internet failed to query the record at this
DNS server.
You can look up the reverse routing for your domain on the following link
(first find out the IP address for the Exchange Server computer):
http://network-tools.com/
For the resolution of this issue, A Reverse Zone record needs to be created
on the ISP DNS server responsible for the source mail server's e-mail
domain. You could also contact your ISP to verify that this record can be
queried from the internet.

I hope the above information helps.
Have a nice day.
