Hi all!
My problem is.. After I installed the S.O (SBS2003) I didn't run the
default installation os SBS2003 (that installs AD, Exchange and
otheres). Besides that, I installed manually my Active Directory, my
Exchange, and other services.
The question is... Now I'm having a problem with licensing. One of my
users can't connect to the server and in the event id the events
Source: LicenseService Code: 201 pops-up everytime he try to access
File Server or print.
So, i bought more 5 CALS but when I try to install (in the icon in the
control panel, or in the icon in administrative tools) Windows shows a
message saying that I have to do this with the Wizard to Add more
CALS in the SBS2003 Managing. But I can't do this because I didn't
run the default installation.
Now I don't know what to do. And I don't know if I run this default
installation will erase all my existing configuration...
Any ideas??
Tks!
Fernando
Hate to tell you this, but I really think you need to back up your data and
start over with a fresh install, doing everything by the book. I can't
imagine this is the only problem with your installation. SBS is incredibly
wizard-centric, and there are tons of things that can and will go wrong if
you don't set it up properly - this is why most people advise that you do it
a few times on test boxes (or virtual machines) to make sure you can do it
properly. Even if you have years of experience with Windows servers, AD, and
Exchange.
