Re: Adding Second Certificate.

If you use the CEICW it will replace the first with the second.

Charlie - one other question if you don't mind:

I added the first cert with the CEICW. Of course it has the domain name of the server. This second cert will have the same NetBios name (ie server2.domain1.com, then server2.domain2.com). Should I just use CEICW again - or is installing the cert service better - or does it matter!

Thanks,

Well guys:

I have SBS 2003 Premium SP1 (not R2) and on another server have installed and used it for Original Domain usage.

One this second server - it is ok then?

Thanks!

Read the book. ;)

I hadn't seen those threads, so didn't comment then, but I know we went through the whole thing to set up the extra certs needed for L2TP. And for setting up 802.1x for wireless, though I can't remember if we needed the extra cert for that or not. My memory is not - just IAS (RADIUS).

Actually, Chris, Certificate services installs just fine on SBS 2003. See pages 375-377 of the R2 book.

I used certificate services to create a self-signed cert for setting up L2TP logins.

I am setting up two domains to use RPC over HTTPS. The primary domain already has its certificate created. I am assuming, since the Common Name in the cert has to match the server, that I need to create another.

Do I need to install the Certificate Services to do this (I want to use my own) or is there another way?
