Read the book. ;)
I hadn't seen those threads, so didn't comment then, but I know we went through the whole thing to set up the extra certs needed for L2TP. And for setting up 802.1x for wireless, though I can't remember if we needed the extra cert for that or not. My memory is not - just IAS (RADIUS).

I used certificate services to create a self-signed cert for setting up L2TP logins.

"Purtech" <mikek(remove)@hlit.net> wrote in message news:%23bMxmNl8GHA.3280@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxI am setting up two domains to use RPC over HTTPS. The primary domain already has its certificate created. I am assuming, since the Common Name in the cert has to match the server, that I need to create another.
Do I need to install the Certificate Services to do this (I want to use my own) or is there another way?
