If you have six disks, you cannot do 3 x 3 and still have any spares. Some
folks would use 2 in RAID1 and 3 in RAID5 with one hot spare (my
preference). Others would use 5 in RAID5 with one hot spare.

i have an hp system with SCSI Raid controller.. i have 6 300gb disks and a
lot of options.. is there a preferred disk config for SBS2k3 that will
allow
it to run optimal, of course fault tolerance is mandatory. (mirror 3 and
3 ?
/RAID with parity and hot spare, etc)
