Ok, I've done that, and I can now log in fine with domain user account and
install programs. I cannot see, however, where it has added the domain user
account to the Standard Server 2003 and given any local rights.

Although that part worked...on the Standard 2003 server, I still cannot add
this as an additional domain controller. When I am using the Active
Directory Installation Wizard and when it asks for the network credentials
(username/pass/domain name) is where I get stuck. It tells me that "An
Active Directory domain controller for the domain DI-COMM.local could not be
contacted. Ensure that the DNS domain name is typed correctly." And it is!

This is a Standard Server 2003 joining the domain DI-COMM.local hosted from
a SBS 2003 server as an additional domain controller for redundancy purposes.

1. Disjoin your standard Sever form the domain
2. Manually assign your standard server a static IP in the same range as
your SBS server. Make the Gateway address on standard sever, the IP address
of the SBS Server.
3. Make the DNS Server address on your standard server the IP address of
the SBS server. DO NOT add any other DNS servers
