Hi Mac,
Thank you for posting in SBS newsgroup.
From the description, I understand the issue to be: The DHCP on SBS willdrop after you add Netopia. If I have misunderstood your concerns, please
do not hesitate to let me know.
To narrow down the problem, would you please help me collect the following
information?
1. What is your detailed network diagram?
2. Is DHCP enabled on Netopia? If so, you may need to disable it.
3. Are there any related errors in Event Log?
I appreciate your time and look forward to hearing from you.
Best regards,
Crina Li (MSFT)

| Our server was running flawlessly until our Netopia 3346 (yes ADSL) went
toes
| up. I got that back but now when I open the DHCP server monitor the
server
| shows "Not connected" and nobody can log on to the domain. If I click on
the
| server name it then "connects" and becomes **active**. If I then close
the
| monitor and reopen it I again get "Not connected."
|
| I have stopped the server, deauthorized it, restarted it, and
reauthorized
| it to no avail. I have a number of users, remote and local that are about
to
| strangle me! Any help would be greatly appreciated. . . Thanks in advance,
|
