I too want to do the same thing but I thought I would upgrade to R2 first.
Are there any problems with doing this? Once I upgrade to R2 do I still need
to load the last CD of SP1 from premium?
Thanks!

Dear Customer,.
Thank you for posting in SBS newsgroup.
From the description, I understand that you want to known how you can
upgrade from SBS 2003 Standard Edition to Premium Edition so that you can
get CRM to install. If I have misunderstood your concern, please do let me
know.
To upgrade SBS 2003 Standard Edition to Premium, we have the following 2
scenarios:
A. If you do not have SBS 2003 SP1 installed
--------------
In this scenario, you should contact our Sales Office or a retailer to buy
a SBS 2003 Premium package. You can ask them to ship with you the SP1 CDs
which contains SQL 2000 SP4 and ISA 2004. After you get the CDs, insert the
fifth one into the CD-ROM, open the premiuminstallsteps.htm file contained
in the CD and read carefully about the "Installing SQL Server 2000"
section. Then you can begin the setup to install SQL or ISA 2000.
After that, you can decide if you want to install SP1 (if you have got the
SP1 CDs). If you decide to do that, you should insert the first CD of the
SP1 CD-set begin the installation. Please read carefully about the
instructions contains in the CDs. After SP1 is installed, you can insert
the last CD to upgrade SQL 2000 to SP4 or to install ISA 2004. Here are the
detailed information regarding do this:

B. If you already have SBS 2003 SP1 installed
-------------
If you already have SP1 installed, you should buy a SBS 2003 Premium SP1
package. Then you can just insert the last CD (SP1 CD) to install SQL 2000
SP4 or ISA 2004. You should also refer to the above document to do the
installation.
