I've got an SBS Domain with about 70 workstations, Every once in a
while people have to move or their computer dies and i set them up
with a "spare" while i fix or re-image their original.
When a user logs in to a computer for the first time I have a three
problems:
WHen they open outlook it makes them setup their email, so I have
to og back and enter the mail server and the username... it doesn't
take long just a PITA. Shouldn't outlook be able to find the
mailserver, especally when it's the same box as the DC?
When a user goes on the internet they can only get to internal
sites. I ahve to go and remove the proxy settings. Or they get not
authorized. Any way to fix?
Lastly i have a problem with Office. When they try to run it it
trys to install and asks for the CD and installs somefiles. When i do
office installs i always do a custom install and select run all from
my computer so all the files should be there.
Thanks for any help?!

Use roaming profiles (with folder redirection) so the user's profile
environment follows them around from computer to computer. If you configure
roaming profiles *carefully* they work.
Re Office, perhaps there's an addin that isn't installed. Were all Office
installs done from the same source (ideally, centralized source on the
server, in an accessible location) and are they all the exact same version &
type?
