the challenge of my life is to make IT so 'user friendly' that uneducated
users actually can use it.

I have nope of making users 'IT friendly'.

Thank you for the great responses, I havn't been able to try them yet, but
I'm pretty sure it's most likely the whole saved password thing after then
put in the wrong username.

For the record, the company web works perfect for him, AFTER he changes
his
username to the correct one.

User Education....The REAL IT job. LOL....now if i can just keep the
secretary from running to reboot my server everytime anything acts
differently than she expects....I'm going to have to give her..."THE TALK
"
soon...i can feel it...sigh...she's one of those controlling types that
likes
to know everyone's business....wish me luck! haha.

it is most likely that when they attempted login using their email
address
they took the option to save the user/pass.

On the PC, Control Panel, User Accounts (if in classic mode), Advanced,
Manage Passwords. Should give you a list of saved passwords, look for one
resembling the local network, delete.

Hi There!

I've got my SBS working perfectly and boy does it feel good!

HOWEVER.....

on one of the workstations, the user has somehow made it so when they
try
and access the companyweb, it pops up the login prompt....putting in
the
correct username and password then allows for access to the page, but
they
apparently once put in their email address (unrelated to exchange in
any
way)
and now EVERY time they go to the companyweb, it shows that undesired
username listed....

It's just one of those things I never figured out ya know? Where do i
reset
that? All my other users have no issues, just this one guy. (It's an
xp
pro
sp2 workstation) I looked on the users properties in active directory
users,
but everything looks like it's supposed to there...so i'm thinking it's
a
client side thing...cleared his cookies and temp internet files, yada
yada
yada....still see that prompt.

I can't seem to refine a google search to find the solution sadly.
I appreciate any suggestions
