Yes that is the error.
However, the problem is that it seems to be the RAID array that is not
being
found rather than the DVD. I can boot from the DVD no problem and get
through
the setup until it says press enter to install then it says there is no
disk.
If i try the same thing from within Windows XP as currently installed, I
get
the bit where the relevant files are copied to the hard-disk then I get
the
0x0000007b error on reboot... hmmm...
It is odd but i can definitely rule out the DVD.

for boot menu?" Or can you set the DVD drive as first in the boot order

You might start by trying to boot that DVD in a different server or
workstation. That could prevent you from spending time troubleshooting
the
server when the problem is the disk.

Ok i'm trying to boot from the DVD and just a message that tells me
that
there are no discs present. The RAID array is definitely fine as XP Pro
is
currently installed.
I've found some KBs that suggested that I update to a newer version of
the
Intel RAID controller software and drivers but that has made no
difference.
If I choose to install in XP I get a message that this is not an
upgrade
but
I can still start the installation and then a reboot happens and the
STOP
error 0x0000007b comes up.
Does the BIOS need updating? Is there a complete incompatibility
between
the
Intel chipset and SBS (I doubt it but you never know).
Anyone got some good ideas?
