Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

Understood...
Not sure other than they must have thought it was important enough

No, and neither. Shows up when you go to Microsoft Update.

By the way...did this get found by WSUS on R2? And was it marked Critical or High?

I guess MS's idea of an important/critical update differs from mine:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update for Windows Small Business Server 2003: Error message when using the Microsoft Connector for POP3 Mailboxes Snap-in with Microsoft Management Console (MMC) 3.0 (KB921096)

When MS receives information and verifies a vulnerability, and feels it important/critial enough they will release "mid-cycle" patches.
But the second Tues policy hasn't changed.

Hi,

Has there been a change in the MS security-update policy? Since the last "update Tuesday" there have been two additional updates this month. Are updates no longer to be released once a month on the second Tuesday?
