Lanwench,
Thanks for all your help. Do you have any suggestions on how
to get 400mb+ files from a remote user on a Mac to my server w/o using
FTP? This would have to be done on a weekly basis and I'm looking for
the least amount of work for the end user.

You could set up a separate FTP server in your DMZ - can be a *nix box, no
need to use Windows for it. Don't allow anonymous FTP. Open up nothing
between DMZ--> LAN - but open up what you need from LAN-->DMZ.

Update:

After more digging I found that the person was trying to log into
the FTP, which like an idiot I had left to the default port.

Do not open up FTP access from the internet to your SBS box at all,
no matter what port. This is unwise.

I've changed
the port, however I would still like to know how to automate the
blocking of IP's that have been associated w/ X number of failed
logins.

Can't think of anything, sorry. Re blocking at all, unless you're
using ISA, this won't have anything to do with your server - you
might check out your firewall/router's capabilities in terms of
blocking specific IPs or ranges that have proven pesky. tho.
