Hi Chris:
Something missing here.... with 20 users you are well within the SBS
footprint. Looks like you are about to spend a lot of money with no visable
benefit.
Why not just use the second server as a TS.? Install TS licensing on the
SBS, install the new app on either box, and TS to the new one?

In a nutshell:
Current: 1 Intel SBS 2003 server/sp1 prem. (2) 2.8 xeon/4 gig ram/137 g
storage part. for 20 users.
Adding: dell 850 windows 2003 r2 standard. (1) 2.8 duocore/2 gig ram/160
storage part.
upgrading to new accounting system. has to use terminal server. got
transition pak for sbs server and 20 user transition cals. also got 20
terminal server user cals.
question: what to put where? My thought, move current sbs install to dell
before transition, then upgrade it with transition pak. use dell for DC,
terminal licence server, and ISA server.
on intel, install R2 and use it for terminal server, accounting server,
backup (veritas, because it's the only machine with a tape drive) and
exchange server.
Your thoughts?
