Our point was that if R2 can add it, then you can add it. :) There's really no issue with installing .NET 2.0 on an SP1 box. At one point I had one of my test machines with that configuration, but it's since been upgraded to full R2. But .NET 2.0 and .NET 1.1 can co-exist on the same box without issue. So go ahead and install it.

I'm not sure I want to upgrade my box to r2 yet. If I didn't have CRM
running on it, I might do it, but I am not sure I'm brave enough to test the
upgrade path for SBS to r2, and then swap out the CRM database/upgrade it as
well...Especially on my production box...

Sooo, back to my original thread. Has anyone got the .Net Framework 2.0
running on an sp1 box?
