Re: FSTW

You should be able to do as outlined in the following thread...

Transfer Settings From Workroup to Domain

Yes, they are "existing user profile" settings on a Win2K workstation that
was part of a peer-to peer network that now needs to join the SBS domain.
The
server is Win Server 2003 standard edition that doesn't have the SBS's
ConnectComputer feature. I wish it did.

thanks again for all your help

Hi Tom,

I'm still not clear on what you have and what you need...

Are the "existing user profile" settings on a Win2K workstation that is
already joined to some other domain or are they on a Win2K workstation
that
was part of a peer-to peer network that now needs to join the SBS domain?

Normally, you could use SBS's ConnectComputer feature.

Other possibilities...

No -
This is an SBS 2003 newsgroup, note - you don't mention SBS at all. If
you're using a domain, and your users log into the domain, you
probably
don't need FAST anyway - there's folder redirection, there are roaming
profiles (if you configure them properly), etc.

If you're using Win2k, and not using SBS, you might post to a Win2k
newsgroup for assistance with your question (and explain what it is
you
want
to do).
