Lanwench, I'm back with another question related to this issue...
One of the things I tried BEFORE I installed and ran UPHClean was to
uninstall and reinstall MS Office 2003 SBE, which, of course, did not
resolve the problem. After running UPHClean, the error messages went
away and the user's Outlook is working as it should. HOWEVER, he has
just sent me an email stating that the animations he had embedded
into PowerPoint presentations are now not working. He has tried
downloading new ones, but still no joy.
Hmmm - I have no idea. Have the user try a detect/repair of Office
(temporarily grant him or her local admin rights first). If this is the only
issue, I'd post in a PowerPoint/Office group - and maybe crosspost to a
WinXP group.
Can I do a system restore back to a point before all this happened
and his PP presentation animations will work again or is there
another/better solution?
System Restore is unlikely to help, honestly.
Thank you for your help!
You're welcome!
