Re: SBS 2003 - Exchange 2003 - Information Store Will Not Start

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

Hi Chris - What permissions have you changed that could be causing this?
Exchange should have installed with the correct permissions, so you
shouldn't have had to change anything in that regard.

When you try to start the IS and it fails, it'll be logging errors in the
Application logs. If those don't point you right to the cause, please post
them here.

Hi,

Exchange is driving me nuts. The information store service will not
start, and I am pretty sure that I have permissions correct.

Anyone who can walk me through what I might be doing wrong, please
contact me. I'd be happy to email screenshots or whatever you might
need. I'm not a MCSA.. not by a long shot.. and this exceeds my
knowledge.

Thanks in advance for all replies!

-Chris
