Hi guys,
I'm currently using MSDE for SharePoint, Monitoring and WSUS on my SBS2003
Server. We purchased the premium edition but I never installed the full
version of SQL at the time as I didn't see a need for it. I was wondering if
upgrading to SQL2000 would provide better performance for the above databases?
Should I upgrade from MSDE to full SQL2000 that came with SBS?
...Now that SQL 2005 Express is out perhaps I should just upgrade directly to
SQL 2005 Express? I'm not sure if this is a good idea as I have heard both
good and bad things about installing SQL 2005 Express on a SBS2003 Server.
Everything is working fine so perhaps I should just stick with MSDE and adopt
the attitue "If it's not broken - don't try to fix it"
