You probably need to look at the File Replication Service Event Logs to
identify if there's a useful hint as to what condition it believes the
server is in. You may be in Journal Wrap, or it could be more complicated
that that. In any case, you should be able to determine when the problem
started and possibly repair it or restore a system state condition if
needed.
DCdiag.exe might also provide some useful information.

Hi
Can anyone help me..
I recently noticed clients no longer running the logon.bat file at start
up
of Windows.
When I went to look at the bat files (usually located in the Netlogon
share)
I noticed there was no share there.
The server installation is straight out of the box and has not been
changed
other than a couple of additional shares being added, computers and users.
We did suffer a power fail a while back and I cannot be sure if this could
be the problem.
Event log seems ok, just no client application and local user shares and
printers are connected anymore.
Anyone any ideas, I have read things about it being the domain controller
downgraded but this is not the case here as the server is a newish (2
month)
installation.
I have connected two clients using the CONNECT COMPUTER setting via the
server addresses homepage. This ran fine except that the computers were
not
set up fully as clients via bat file.
Can anyone help?
Thanks
