Thanks for your update.
As I know, C:\windows\system32\spool\printers is the folder of SBS server
print spooler. That means, when you submit a print job, a file with name
*.SPL and a file with name *.SHD will be created in this folder. They will
sit there and wait for printing. Once the print job is completed
successfully, these files will be deleted automatically by system. So it
may not the cause of the fax issue.

| spooling files. My backup job log shows that backup was unable to open
