Re: Allowing access to HVAC controller web interface in SBS2003

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

If you can vpn in from the out side you should be able to get to
https://192.168.1.X/start.htm while connected to the VPN. If you have RWW
setup you can take control of any PC running XP on the local network and
access that way as well.

I have a client running SBS2003 Premium w/ISA2000 who would like to
give access to their web-enabled HVAC controller, which sits on the
internal network, to internal and external users to monitor and make
changes to the heating and cooling system. I can connect to the
controller internally by typing https://192.168.1.X/start.htm. I have
to use https because the controller has its own certificate. But I
haven't been able to publish the server, in ISA, in such a way that I
can access it externally. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
