Hi b.,
Can you turn up the logging to full, and see if there are some more helpful
events logged?
On the POP3 connection manager node of Advanced Management, there's a
troubleshooting tab - you can select a logging level there and then force a
download. See what events are logged, and post them here.
What type of pop box(es) are you collecting from, Global, or individual?

Hi,
We are switching domains for email, haven't canned the old one while I'm
trying to get the new one operational. I've used the POP3 connector
successfully for the old email, but when I try to get the new domain email
conencted I get the following in the event log:
Event Type: Error
Event Source: POP3 Connector
Event Category: Download
Event ID: 1036
Date: 9/15/2006
Time: 10:52:31 AM
User: N/A
Computer: SBSSERVER
Description:
An error occurred during a POP3 transaction to server <mail.cmsnm.com
[rleddon@xxxxxxxxx]>. The error is 58 (The specified server cannot perform
the requested operation. ).
I just mention the word "Server" to my new mail host and they instruct me
to
get "local help". Hahaha. I connected the account successfully on my
server
through Outlook Express, so it tested that it will connect to the mail
server
and download. But if I try to route it thru the connector, it does not
work.
I wish I didn't have to use the POP3 connecter, but right now I have to.
Any
suggestions? Thx.
.
