It won't move the existing database for you, it will simply start a new one there.
You would have to stop exchange and then copy the old databases to the new location.

I have just moved exchange logs by going int exchange system manager -
locating first storage group - right clicking and choosing properties. From
their I browsed for new LOG path and when chose the logs moved perfectly.
Under the area to choose a new log path is another system path which I
assumed was the Database itself. I followed the same procedure browsed to
new location and accepted. But this did not seam to move anything it just
created a couple of new items in the new location. Have I messed anything up
Outlook seems to open OK. Should I point it back to its original location -
(Where should that be??)
THANKS - Mark
