Sorry it took so long to get back to this - I've been out of town.
If they are SQL or MSDE databases, IIRC there's a procedure for moving them
in the doc. If they are actual program installs, you'd have to uninstall,
reinstall, then reattach the databases to the new installs. That seems to
me like a large amount of work for little return, since the program files
are generally not large.
You can also look in CP add/remove to see if there are any instances
installed that you are not using. Those could just be removed. (If they
are part of SBS, you'd want to remove them with the SBS wizard, which you'd
also run from CP add/remove, just selecting the feature and choosing the
uninstall option).

Thanks for the reply. What about the MS SQL folders I indicated? My main
SQL Server folder resides on the D drive and has the bulk of the files in
it. I'm not sure what those folders are being used for on the C Drive,
maybe it's from a previous version of SQL. I've had several upgrades to
SBS on this server. I think we had 4.5, 2000 and now 2003.

Move the page file. You can move the service pack uninstall directory
with the name that starts and ends with $, or it's probably safe to
delete it.

Good Afternoon,
I hope everyone had a blessed Labor Day Holiday. It was nice to get a
3-day weekend again!
We've got 1 hard drive with two partitions (C & D) and another hard
drive with 1 partition (F:).
We've got plenty of space on the F partition, maybe about 4 GB on the D
drive, and only 200+ MB on the C drive. We're running out of space and
I've put as much apps as I know possible on the D & F drives.
SQL server is installed on the D drive but there still appears to be (2)
SQL Svr folders in the C:\Program Files folder (1 MS Sql Server & MS SQL
Server SP4). I don't know if it's safe to move those or not.
Also there is a ServicePackFiles folder in the WinNT.SBS folder that is
approx. 617 MB. I'd like to move that if I can. Can someone tell me
how I can free up more space on the C drive? Thanks!
Sincerely,
Anthony Smith
In God We Trust!
