Re: Am I running the most current version of Server 03 & Exchange

If you have Windows Server SP1 and you don't have Win SBS SP1 you have
serious problem. See
http://www.smallbizserver.net/Default.aspx?tabid=266&articleType=ArticleView&articleId=68
for SP1 installation instructions.

Thank you for the reply Frank. In add/remove I do not see Win SBS SP1. I
know those SP were supposed to be installed in a particular order. Can I
install that now?

The remote user issue is a real mind-bender. Way back when we first
installed the SBS some physical locations could remote in with
http://FQDN/remote and some could not. I took my laptop from location to
location and found that the station made no difference. My "locations"
are people's homes so there are no corporate firewall complexities. The
ISP was the only thing that seemed to be a constant when comparing
locaitons that worked and those that could not. Eventually the problem
was fixed with the installation of a service pack. I thought it was SBS
SP1 but to be honest I don't remember.

We had a complete server crash two weeks ago and have had problems
getting remote users connected ever since. Could someone confirm that I
am in fact running the most recent versions of both Server 03 and
Exchange?

Exchange: 6.5.7226.0
Server 2003: 5.2 Build (3790.srv03_sp1_rtm.050324-1447: Service Pack 1)

Thank you for taking the time to help.
