Re: Swap computers for 2 users

Tech-Archive recommends: Speed Up your PC by fixing your registry

Assuming they are running XP on both
Run the File and Settings Transfer Wizard on her machine...save the file to the network.
Install the apps on the replacement machine
Run the File and Settings Transfer Wizard on the "replacement machine" and pull in that file from the network and its her machine...she just logs in

Hi,
I have SBS 2K3 running, I would like to swap 2 computers. The Office Manager
would like the faster of the 2. One is called Admin(faster) and the other is
called Office Manager. I have had her organize her computer so I can make the
change. I am redirecting her documents to the server. The admin machine is a
spare, no users have data on it.I know I will need to install her apps after
I swap. What is the best way to swap the two.
Thanks

.
