Re: Need more space on C: Drive

Thanks for the reply. What about the MS SQL folders I indicated? My main
SQL Server folder resides on the D drive and has the bulk of the files in
it. I'm not sure what those folders are being used for on the C Drive, maybe
it's from a previous version of SQL. I've had several upgrades to SBS on
this server. I think we had 4.5, 2000 and now 2003.

Move the page file. You can move the service pack uninstall directory
with the name that starts and ends with $, or it's probably safe to delete
it.

Good Afternoon,

I hope everyone had a blessed Labor Day Holiday. It was nice to get a
3-day weekend again!
We've got 1 hard drive with two partitions (C & D) and another hard drive
with 1 partition (F:).
We've got plenty of space on the F partition, maybe about 4 GB on the D
drive, and only 200+ MB on the C drive. We're running out of space and
I've put as much apps as I know possible on the D & F drives.
SQL server is installed on the D drive but there still appears to be (2)
SQL Svr folders in the C:\Program Files folder (1 MS Sql Server & MS SQL
Server SP4). I don't know if it's safe to move those or not.

Also there is a ServicePackFiles folder in the WinNT.SBS folder that is
approx. 617 MB. I'd like to move that if I can. Can someone tell me how
I can free up more space on the C drive? Thanks!

Sincerely,
Anthony Smith
In God We Trust!
