RE: companyweb problem2

Hello.

I go to server management, internal web site, central administration,
Configure HTML Viewer. Here i selected Allow HTML viewing . At Path to HTML
Viewer server:
the SBS automaticaly set: http://servername:8093.
Maximum cache size: 5000
Maximum file size: 3000
Timeout length: 30
And nou i click OK.
That is the customization. I use Office 200.
The error appear for all the .doc files uploaded to companyweb. If i uncheck
Allow HTML viewing and click to a .doc files, the files is opened in office
but the modification isn't save directly to companyweb. The files is saved to
HDD and i need to upload again with the modification.
Is possible to make the modification in .doc files and the saved files
upgraded automatically to companyweb?

Hi Luciffere,

Thanks for your update.

To narrow down the problem, would you please help me collect the following
information?

1. Does the situation occur if you upload another word document to the
General Documents?
2. Have you done any customization for the WSS site?

Thanks for your time and I look forward to hearing from you.

Best regards,

Crina Li (MSFT)
