What our very good MVPs are trying to say is in the option for a logon script
for the user, create a script to map a network drive. Check out
http://www.computerperformance.co.uk/Logon/Logon_HomeDir.htm
for an example. This one uses VBScript. Or you can use the NET USE command
NET USE X: \\servername\foldername
