Hi all
I have recently had to do a full restore on a SBS2003 box, all went
well apart from 2 users unable to receive email, I cured the problem
by deleting the user accounts recreating them and then reconnecting
the old mailboxes, again all seemed to work great but outlook now
gets a message that "exchange is in recovery mode do you wish to
connect or work offline" all I need to know is how to get exchange
out of recovery mode to stop the message popping up.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Regards
John
Presuming they have not been working offline without syncing properly:
Disable cached mode for the users in question, close Outlook, find & delete
the old OST file. Open Outlook, re-enable cached mode, close & reopen
Outlook.
