$300 is a GREAT deal for a product of this type. I have an early version of
LiveState Recovery (bought before Symantec had a chance to ruin it) that not
only lets me resize partitons but also provides me with what is effectively
a lab server. I copy the entire system to a single large drive, then boot to
the copy-to drive and can test new software, patches, and updates before
putting them into production. Man what a luxury that is.

Hi Louie
I have been very happy with Paragon software. They have recently come out
with a feature rich SBS version for $299 see

Thank you in advance for your replies. I work in a small non-profit. We
run
a single SBS 2003 box with RAID 5 configuration. The server is
partitioned
into two logical drives. The system partition was configured by Dell at
8.0GB and the free space has been reduced to < 150MB. The other logical
drive is 140GB with 104 GB of free space. I have been reading other
posts
about the same issue and it appears that I have two options: 1) Back Up,
Reformat, Reinstall with bigger system partition, and restore from Back
Up or
Image or 2) Purchase 3rd party app and resize. My question is: If I
choose
option 2) does anyone know where I can obtain a copy of Acronis Disk
Director
- Server for less than the $500.00 they want? Or is there another
application out there that would work just as well?
