Well I got the ceicw to recognized the two nicks,
I'm sure you mean NICs. Otherwise I'm going to worry that you cut yourself
shaving.
I enable the
firewall, added port 3325 for outgoing smtp
To whom are you trying to connect? You will not be able to send mail to
anyone's mail server that is listening on the default of 25.
and port 3500 for
incoming smtp
Same thing as above - nobody sending mail to your domain using the default
of 25 will be able to connect to your server.
but the wizard still still will not configure the
e-mail. The smtp server still refuses the connection.
Which SMTP server? As Russ asked, are you using some company's "redirector"
service for both inbound and outbound mail, due to your ISP blocking port
25?
If so, you should check with the redirector service's support for what they
need. As far as Exchange is concerned, you'll have to go into ESM and
manually change your virtual SMTP server to listen on a port other than 25 -
and you will need to configure your SMTP connector to send outbound mail to
the third-party server on a port other than 25
Also, note that if your ISP is blocking port 25, that probably means they
don't want you running a mail server on your network. You might be in
violation of your terms of agreement with them; check your contract. Just
thought I'd mention it.

I have added a second NIC when I changed from pop mail to smtp. The
NIC is fully functional. When I run the email CEICW wizard it does
not reflect the new NIC for the firewall configuration. Nor does it
give me the Enable Firewall selection Box. I also need to set the
port for incoming e-mail to 3500 so my ISP will not block the service
Thanks
